Blanching and poisoning sea jewels with pollution
But that's what we are ...Killers
We must have our life styles at all costs
Bigger better and more of everything
Borrowing billions on bilious excrescences
called modern architecture Mc Mansions
The old trees are destroyed for water views
the ugliness reflected in the soulless faces
of cardboard cutouts with cell phones
cloned to ears attached to tin can minds
filled with junk blinded to any beauty or depth.
Let me be a yellow starfish living under a rock
I will cheer on the four riders of the apocalypse
Just leave the animals and plants
