You

You were born in a stable
on a cold wintry night
i was not there

but i have seen You

i have seen You

when i see them
gathering together
on the ground
for a meal with
a meagre ration  of rice
offered to  a stranger

i see You

when they cry
sensing
my suffering
even though
no mention is made

 i have seen You

when they offer shelter
to a stranger
they
an entire family
huddled in a room
i see You

they know love

and

i- see- You

  3. For me, you have captured the message of Christmas...God with us. And have challenged us to find the divine in those in need. Beautiful.

  4. The divine is more present in those in need than in those who have everything. May God go with you and yours during this Holy Season Victoria.

  5. Having been one of these who so desperately 'needed' I have seen and been blessed by those who have seen him and do his works. And, having traveled so deep I have seen my own love light and can say, yes, I have seen 'you' too.
This is such a beautiful poem. Heart felt, touching in its truth.
RYN: Thanks for the great comments :)
