Summer Tweets

 Jane Birkin and Serge Gainsbourg

dverse

august is a wicked month
skirts creep up higher
hands twitter softly
promises are made
in the heat of
the summer moment
wedding bells in spring

  7. August is wicked in so many ways. This is a wicked good write. Brian, funny you say that- in the Boston area, the number of people in September or October of 1979 (myself included) are staggering because in 1978 there was a huge blizzard. Lots of people keeping themselves warm. ;)

  13. Bare legs are just begging to be twittered! Funny and probably accurate enough to be a proverb of sorts. Hey, is that first line a play on T.S. Eliot, or am I just reading that into it on my own?

  15. You're such an old fashioned romantic. Nowadays, after all the 'twittering' there's more likelihood of a visit to the local Marie Stopes' corner shop than wedding bells.
