For My Dear Friend Ruth






She has been gone a year
the light has gone out

Life has turned into
a black and white movie

At best it will only ever
be a faded sepia

None of us will waltz again
without her

A beautiful gentle girl
stylish daughter of a Vicar

May she rest in peace

    Death evokes these painful emotions. I am grateful that she has not visited my doorstep and pray she stays away indefinitely. I also pray for your peace too.
