What happened to
this beautiful songbird
falling with a crash
from her perch
into smithereens
far too soon?
Why was such a beauty
alone with no arms
to hold her close
in her pain
to make her feel
worthy and special?
She gave joy to many
She deserved a second chance

we were coming out of the movie red tails this weekend when i got the msg on my phone...what a tragic tale her life became...why anyone has to be that alone is a great question...
