flying high
is so tenuous
it only takes a moment
a few ill considered words
to send her crashing
' thud '
all the twinkling stars
now so far away
out of her reach
Well... we could wrap them in a scented lace hanky and cry ourselves to sleep or we could go to a Karioke bar have a few cocktails and sing " I'm a fool to love you" or go for a surf in the moonlight. Take your pick:)
The transiency of a single moment is captured well in this poem.

really nice, a moment is tenuous, and one thud can crash it all down. Really nicely done. Thanks
