My Lady Hunsdon's Puffe

wreaking cold revenge
finding the achilles heel
firing crippling
with such offense
you reduce the colossus
to its knees

My Lady Hunsdon's Puffe
sacrificed her as
collateral damage
all things being fair
in love and war

  1. This troubles me. I'm not good at understanding the prose of others but with the frivolous and light hearted music it suggests uncaring hurt.

Cold revenge on another and sacrificing someone as collateral damage in the process, is not right, neither in love nor in war.

  3. Hmmm...there is always a place where shame does not fall on your actions. Maybe it exists in the interior lining of ourselves, our ego.

Felt like an absolutely necessary read. Thanks!
