lying in bed
febrile
with flu
looking out on to
torrential
tropical
rain storm
rabid dogs rooting
through mounds of garbage
every 4am
the call to prayer
piercing through ear plugs
sleep deprivation
mosquitoes
disease
pollution
and
the song writers
call it
paradise
