Exultate Jubilate

frost on the window
signalling a cool summer
a good sign

i see the pale green head
emerging from the dark dank soil
new life
all fragile and delicate
another sign
i've been waiting for

it's time
unlock the chains
unfurl the sails
fly girl
fly

  3. Sigh...thanks for the reminder that it's not all dead, just sleeping and that green heads will get up off the snow pillow eventually. Love the exhilaration you get into the ending.

  4. I love to taste of bit of spring...a reminder that it's not winter everywhere. I'm flying...vicariously. Victoria

  5. A breath of fresh spring air as we await the end of another year and and the blossoms that await in the next one.
